Our signature bars — the soap that started The Garden Soapery. Every 6 oz bar is hot process handmade in our Santee, South Carolina workshop: measured, cooked, cut, and cured by hand in small batches. No two bars are identical, and that's the point.
Why hot process?
The oils and lye finish their reaction in the pot — by the time a bar is molded, saponification is complete. The soap that reaches you is fully formed and gentle from day one, with its natural glycerin retained. Read why we make hot process soap →
What's in the bar
Rich cocoa butter and shea butter are our highlighted butters — we use a lot of both, because they're what make the bar nourishing. The base: coconut, olive, palm, and castor oils, fully saponified. 100% vegan, all-natural, always.
Pick your scent — 21 and counting
- Fresh & clean: White Water Rush, Beach Breeze, Cucumber Melon, Lemongrass Mint
- Floral: Love Spell, Peach Gardenia, Fresh Lavender, Rosemary Mint, Charleston Market (peach, magnolia, raspberry)
- Fruity: Raspberry Vanilla, Watermelon Lemonade, My Main Squeeze (grapefruit tangerine), Cheerful Cherry, Raspberry Mimosas
- Cozy & earthy: Vanilla, Patchouli, Witch's Brew (cinnamon, cedarwood, patchouli), ViBrancy, Oatmeal Milk & Honey
- Unscented: Butt Naked and Butt Naked Oatmeal — all of the soap, none of the fragrance. The right choice for sensitive or reactive skin.
Make it last
Cured bars last longest when kept dry between uses — a soap saver sock roughly doubles a bar's life. Follow with goat milk & honey lotion to lock in the softness. Trying a new bar? Run the 5-day patch test first.
Every purchase supports soap donations to homeless and foster care communities — 2,500+ handmade bars donated since 2015.
Frequently Asked Questions

Yes — every bar is made with plant oils and butters only. No animal products, no by-products.
